Kam Leung

Kam Leung, President and CEO of Advanced Voice Technologies comes with over 15 years experience in carrier grade telecom systems and Aerospace systems. He spent 8 years with ATT Bell Labs and Lucent Technologies working on carrier grade telecom systems and coordinating testing on the Beijing Haul Junction Project and working with Beijing Design Institute of MPT. He was also lead engineer of the Spacecraft on Board Processor module for Raytheon. In 2001 Kam founded Wireless Web Access, Inc. and later became Advanced Voice Technologies, Inc. Advanced Voice Technologies began to provide its first product in 2005.

Kam holds both an undergraduate degree and a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering at Colorado University. He is the owner of a US patent in pending state. Kam published technical articles such as " Realizing Robust Enterprise Voice Applications" at the VoiceXML Forum in 2006, and "Performance Evaluation of A Learning Fuzzy Logic Control System" at the proceedings of the Artificial Neural Networks in Engineering, Dec 1994 during his professional career.

 

Fran Long

Fran Long, Partner comes with over 25 years experience in high tech equipment and software with both Eastman Kodak Company, and several start-up companies. Fran started his career as a manufacturing engineer then spent the majority of his career managing all aspects of new product development from leading design teams to partner management, marketing and product management and growing businesses within a large corporation. During his time at Kodak, Fran has launched two major systems and 20 hardware and software products, positioned a division for 2X growth, helped raise Kodak stock by 4%. He holds 4 US patents and has received awards such as American Marketing Association Grand Edison Award.

Fran has also been a member of or consulted for 4 start-up companies in both marketing and operational capacities helping to obtain funding, provide strategic direction and position the company for sustainable growth and market success. He holds a BS in Engineering from the University of Vermont, a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Rochester and he recently passed the qualifying exam for Product Development Management Professional certification from the Product Development Management Association.
